History:
Legend holds that the original twelve Argenist magicians come from a world ripe with mana, all twelve highly potent and powerful users of magic. It is these twelve who appeared mysteriously before the fabled Crimson Age and created a powerful, prosperous nation with a previously-untapped resource of Erutios: the planet's mana. This nation used this power to conquer the whole Erutios and establish a firm claim on everything on the planet.
Mere years after the appearance of these newcomers and the conquering of the world, the Crimson Age took hold as Finrae, Shirala and may other powerful figures began tearing through this empire, destroying all they laid eyes on. The twelve magicians banded up to rid their young empire of this disaster, and in succeeding, all twelve lost their lives. After the Crimson age and the depletion of magic, the remaining Argenists fled to the frozen southern tundra, where they can still harvest magic indirectly from nature. Because all their machines are powered by such a way, their forces cannot stray from the snowy lands of Jirmushi.


Common Trooper
The common infantry of the Argenists, they can use some minor mana techniques to readjust their bullets. They otherwise don't pack much of a punch.


Mana Gunner
Often using flintlock pistols and muskets, Mana Gunners can wreck massive havoc with their mana powers alone. But with their aged equipment, the power has been doubled and greatly concentrated, adding to the damage if striking a lone target or to the area splash, if aiming at an enemy position.


Heavy Support Specialist
Wearing light power-padded armor and carrying a plethora of ammunition to supply their machine gun, the Heavy Support can take innumerable hits to fell. On the left is the usual Heavy Support while on the right is the Elite Support, who have clearance to use more powerful or prototype weapons on the field.


Goliath Power Armor
A brave soul who has infused his body with that of a machine's, Heavy Armor operators are cyborgs, merging with their armor for maximum reflex time and endurance. Of course they can disattach their armor, you can't go everywhere in a multi-ton armor can you?


Spider Tank
Due to Jirmushi's very hostile climates, standard tanks would freeze if unattended and get bogged down in the deep snow. Argenist Spider Tanks are designed with special heated systems that prevent ice from gathering on its joints and its long legs to tread through snow, being twice as high as standard tanks.

History:
After the Crimson Age, the survivors of the disasterous time in Majin formed a new nation based on the teachings and leadership of Hendric Belsson, his teachings being the ways of Belism Communism. This new ideology and government quickly spread throughout the continent, stopping only at the frozen reaches of Jirmushi. The teachings of Hendric has spread far elsewhere, its roots deep in the Rebel Airborne's command structure. Today, the Calidrians, with their continent's vast swathes of resources for the taking, have full dominance over the seas. Because of this, overseas trade cannot proceed without the Calidrians' approval, giving the Calidrians immense diplomatic powers as well.


Assault Marine
The average footsoldier of the Calidrians, they have light armor and a simple rifle. They are specially trained in frontal assaults and building clearing.


Flamethrower Trooper
If you check the element allignments, you can tell why Argenists and Calidrians hate each other. The usual flamethrower trooper that can set anything that can burn ablaze within 50 feet.


HESS Infantryman
Equipped with a top-of-the-line Hazardous Environmental Safety Suit used for magma-mining in the Calidrian mines, the HESS suit has found its way into the army for its surprising ability to stop armor-piercing bullets. This only works, however, when the suit is charged. Nonetheless, their bullet-resistance makes them a foe to be wary of.


Medium All-Terrein Tank
Designed to easily navigate through Majin's constantly-changing landscape, the Calidrian's Medium AT Tank can even brave through some of Jirmushi and Kanshin's terrein and weather. These tanks can deal plenty of damage themselves but are often supported by infantry.


Battleship (Pocket, Support, Standard)
Coming in multiple sizes, Pocket Battleships are quick skirmish ships normally incapable of direct combat. Support Battleships are the equivilent of anti-air defence and anti-submarine defence. Standard battleships, such as the one in the picture, can take on anything that isn't flying, lurking underwater, or too far away. All other factions have a navy, of course, it's simply that the Calidrians' navy is not only larger, but also far superior in quality in contrast to every other nation's warships.

History:
Rising from the ashes of the old Argenist Empire after the Crimson Age, the Imperial Airborne quickly utilized the power of technology and the abilities of steam to build the first formal air force of Erutios. With this domination of the skies, they set out to dominate the rest of the continent of Mu-Arishi. Now, with Grynn oc Trine crowned the Imperial King of Mu-Arishi, this new nation set out to turn Mu-Arishi into a gigantic agricultural facility. It is said that this nation particularly enjoys dark operations of pure evil, much reflected by the sadistic and often tyrannical king, a Death Mage alongside all his top advisors, the rouge Silent Brothers. Propaganda has also turned the population into brainwashed fanatics, all of them willing to sacrifice themselves for the benefit of King and Country. Now the Imperial Airborne only control the southern half of Mu-Arishi after the rise of the Rebal Airborne thirdy years ago, and the fight for the whole continent goes on.


Rifleman
Trained mainly for urban assault, these men excel at fighting in urban areas but will be at a huge disadvantage out in the open.


Jet Trooper
Able to jump over most obstacles with ease, these heavily armored fellows are the product of several years of intense training so the poor guy doesn't blow himself up in mid-flight.


IO-443 Lowe Main Battle Tank
Though ill-suited for urban warfare, this tank finds its niche within Mu-Arishi's flat, outstretched landscape, complementing this tank's speed, maneuverability, and extreme accuracy.


Sk-02 "Sky Reaper" Fighter Jet
A swift and fast fighter, it is dreaded by the Rebel forces as it gives no warning before plastering the area with napalm or dropping a precision-guided missile onto an armored vehicle. This cract also dominates the skies with its deadly-accurate machine guns and above-average armoring.


AH-01 Attack Helicopter
A powerful attack helicopter capable of devastating vehicles and infantry alike; lack of armor makes this an easy kill for whatever can counter it.


Sky Carrier
A behemoth of the sky, a sky carrier is rather extremely vulnerable to attack but is great for assaults requiring drawn-out air support. They can serve as mobile bases, but only temporarily.

History:
Influenced greatly by Hendric's communist teachings, the Rebel Airborne was created out of an unsuccessful rebellion in northern Mu-Arishi. When the bid for independence failed and the Imperial Army arrived, the people of the region took up arms and began a civil war.
Thirty years later, the Rebal Airborne has grown greatly, dominating the northern half of Mu-Arishi and sporting full military industries and recognized as an independent government. Still, the Imperial Airborne and Rebel Airborne continue to fight to this day.


Assault Trooper
Not as skilled when it comes to urban combat, but they triumph at any open-area combat.


Elite Infantry
Great at any kind of combat, uses efficient teamwork to break through any fortification. These men are also well versed in special operations and are a hard match for any enemy infantry or armor, even.


12-F Medium Tank
Essentially captured and/or converted Imperial Lowe MBTs, but often equipped with a short snub-barrel cannon for use in urban operations. These modifications extend the uses of this tank, but are unfortunately in fewer numbers than the Imperial Armored Forces.

History:
Originating as loose groups of bandits on the dunes of Kanshin, the arrival of the Crimson Age brought not destruction, but great amounts of water in the form of rain to Kanshin. And with water comes life. These former bandits, now with access to immense amounts of new resources, began establishing villages and farming communities along rivers that have sprung up through the once-dry Kanshin. This brought breakthrough after breakthrough and, with the knowledge of refugees from the south and east, began setting up a tribal-coalition system amongst the three greatest cities of the desert: Numenfang, Reloz, and Kyvs. Now the Sand Rat Bandits are no longer just bandits, they are a full government complete with semi-independent economical systems and a full military. They retain their old titles of "Bandit" and "Bounty hunter" mostly for symbolic purposes, to remind the military, government, and the population of their small origins.


Bandit Infantry
The equivalent of another nation's common trooper, the Bandit normally rides around the dunes of Kanshin, patrolling the dunes for outsiders. They are exceptionally skilled on their hoverbikes but are easy to take care of once you knock them off, provided you haven't killed the poor guy already.


Raider
Old Seredium Power-Armor that ended up in the hands of the Sand Rat Bandits. How did that happen? Who knows, but the Bandits have made good use of the armor they got, awarding a set to any Bandit achieved the rank of Raider, the equivilent of an elite.


Hunter
It seems that the love/hate relationships between Raiders and Hunters still exist back in the days where the two were referred to by their original titles: Outlaws and Bounty Hunters. Centuries later, the two still compete with each other--in different ways. As the Raiders are the Elite Corps, the Hunters are the Special Operations branch.


Hoverbike
Armed with a grenade launcher, the Hoverbike can travel at extreme speeds with a maximum capacity of two people. It can also store additional weapons and be modified to carry up to six people, though this will weigh the hoverbike down significantly.

The Dire Wolves Alliance

Though not quite an official faction of their own (As they lack specific territory), the Dire Wolves is the alliance of the three major Inu (Werewolf) clans of Erutios. It is a loose alliance, with the three clans commonly quarreling over small things but when the time comes for them to stick together, that is when the true purpose of this alliance comes forth. The former relaxed clans become highly fierce warriors willing to fight down to the very last man or woman, as shown during the latest Crimson Age. Because of this alliance and this frightening determination not to become the subordinates of the humans, it has earned the respect and trust of many human factions, the merits of the Dire Wolves widely known even in the usually-reclusive Seredium Federation. Since then, the human factions of Erutios have been contracting the men and women of the Alliance to fight on their behalf. Because of this, the Inu race is possibly the only race on Erutios that the humans respect as an equal, hence why they are far more populous in comparison to other fellow minorities.

The Inu, on top of their warrior's pride and determination, excel in eyesight and therefore are some of the best snipers asides from specific Tengu species. Because of this same ability, they can also be great pilots, able to spot some things even their equipment may not pick up. Their hearing, smell and instinct make them deadly enemies in infantry combat and their training hones in all of these abilities to produce the greatest mercenaries on Erutios. But even these mercenaries, similar to the Desperadoes of Erutios, have their own codes of conduct. These few codes are:
-To never victimize the weak or the helpless
-To aid a fellow soldier (of any faction) in distress if the circumstances allow for it
-To fulfill a contract, or die trying

Infantry Team Contractors
For the infantry of the Dire Wolves, they are contracted in teams of three with the exception of the Engineer. Some Inus are also contracted individually, though this is less often preferred as Teams operate better and can produce far more results than usual integrated units.


Assault Team
These teams make the backbone of the Dire Wolves infantry. There is always one in the team that carries a specially tempered ballistic shield that can deflect even the most powerful of bullets. An assault team is trained for aggressive attack, defense, and sweeping a building clear of hostiles.


Support Team
Such a team is more sparse amongst the teams of infantry, but essencial nonetheless. This team takes care of the heavy weapons as well as the role of combat medic and combat surgeons if the situation arises.


Recon Team
Often found deep in enemy territory or behind allied lines, Recon teams guide the battle by picking off the officers of the enemy group, and a single team can keep an entire street suppressed for long enough to let reinforcements to take over the job.


Engineer Unit
Because of their specialist status, Engineers are contracted as individual units. They are armed with high-tech weaponry that are both powerful and versatile.

The Skeletal Coalition

To fight so many massive continental superpowers on Erutios is a tough business. Fortunately for the residents of the Boneyard, most are already dead. This means their men do not require any food, water or rest, nor do they feel pain. This makes the undead some of the greatest fighters on Erutios, alongside the Dire Wolves, as they do not fear death; they've already been there, and many of the most powerful brag of having challanged the great angel Scion at chess (Though few will actually admit defeat). The Skeletal Coalition is exactly that, the banding of the warriors in the Boneyard, and undead Desperado mercenaries from abroad. Unlike the Alliance, the Coalition does not hire out combat teams, though it is up to the individual whether or not they wish to enter a mercenary's contract.


Common Infantry
The Common Infantry is practically the name the Coalition gives to all footsoldiers, no matter how skilled or powerful they are. The infantry are often reanimated soldiers who have enlisted their entire lives, and have now volunteered their skills for the defense of the place they now call home. Each infantry unit has at least a lifetime's worth of combat experience, though over half of the Boneyard's infantry army have already fought for over a hundred years. This makes even the most basic of infantry extremely skilled and deadly opponents on any level.

Steam Tank
Despite no longer running on steam, Steam Tanks remain as monstrous as ever. It may be a snail compared to modern tanks, it may be very few in numbers, and it may be an ancient relic many have only skimmed on during History class, but one thing has remained true over the centuries: This tank will completely and utterly crush the enemy. Its magic-reinforced armor is unparallelled by any tank even in modern times, and just one of its two mounted cannons is enough to send an entire skyscrapers toppling. These machines are one of the many reasons why the Boneyard has not ever fallen to the constant threat of invasion.


J-12 All-Purpose VTOL Fighter Jet
The J-12 is a magnificent work of art, able to rival the fighter jets of even the Imperial Airborne. It is equipped with four air-to-air missiles and two air-to-ground missiles, with a gatling gun for dogfights and for close-fire support. This fighter jet is also an improvised gunship, able to tear apart the opposition if called in for help.

The Elven Refuge

"Those who do not unite will fall to the human menace", goes the old Forest Elves' saying. This has proven true for the former High Elves, who had perished by the hands of the humans whilst aimlessly fighting one another. The Forest Elves had the fortune of watching and learning from the shadows, observing the demise of the High Elves and observing the ways of the new Dark Elves, who had now become a great ally to the rapidly-expanding Sand Rat Bandits. From these experiences, they had been led to ally the other residents of their own forest-continent. This makes attacking Hakari a very unlikely prospect, as the Elven Refuge can use their militia to destroy entire armies, turn your entire surroundings against you, whilst the Casugari can utilize their dark arts to outright destroy all of their foes. This combination has made the Elven Refuge a noteworthy faction on the world of Erutios, despite not being a truly official faction.


Forest Elf Swordmaster
In order to protect their homeland of Hakari, those who have taken the path of the sword must master the art to an extreme. Training takes several years, with many more to perfect each and every Swordmaster. The product of this overwhelming mastery allows these Swordmasters to go against humans using modern-day firearms and be more than enough for a match. Of course, Swordsmasters are also trained in the art of handling small firearms, as, of course, swords is simply not enough.


Hunter-Killer Teams
These teams of snipers are infamous and legendary amongst every other race of Erutios. They can dispatch whole squadrons or disrupt an entire formation of infantry and armored vehicles, even-and escape before the enemy can reorganize enough to return fire! No other special ops squadron can match the skill and precision of these teams. And these teams are only composed of the Elven militia's elites!


Stalker Unit
These are the true "special operatives" of the Elven Refuge, those who have honed their art to near perfection. They can utilize modern firearms, old-fasioned swords, and magic to bring down even some of Erutios' titans. This is no surprise to the Elven Refuge. After all, the Stalker IS the titan of their militia.
