Coalition of the Eighteen

Type of government: Democracy- 2 Houses which one has representatives based on population and other is the supreme court. 1 President of the coalition, and all core planets have near same population (but for capital planet). This goverement is also backed by the rich core planets ^_^.

Technology: This faction which is designed for a future rp is uses FTL drives to jump from place to place.

FTL drive- To them it'll only seem like seconds past when maybe hours could have gone by. Their ftl drive throws up a special energy field around them, and puts the ship into a different dimension where 1 movement of cm in any direction is a BIG distance in reality. The ship can only stay here a slong as the energy field is up, which isn't that long. If the field should collaspe while in this dimension, that ship is lost forever (most likley). Also, when they come out of the dimension, you usally see a yellow flash from the front of the ship to the back. This is the energy field collasping, and should come up on anybody's radar whose nearby. Currently, reactors can only substain jumps that span some 3-4 star systems away.

Culture- The colonies, most of them, believe in one entity, one god who guides them along his plan which is never ending. This is well, the old religion that still remains around on the eighteen planets present day. In their ancient scrolls, it speaks of an ancient planet called Earth where they all originated from. It speaks of a dark shadow which annihilated their ancestors, and only a handful got away from this apocalypse. The handful were found by 4 guardian angels who guided them to their new homes of Strife, Ceri, Naveroc, and Ziril. Today though, these stories have all but faded into myth, including Earth. Also, today many of the ancient scrolls are lost in the depths of space.....

Weaponary: Space

This faction has very advance energy based weapons and shields for ship to ship battles. They have actually adapted to fighting a more technolgical race. Many years ago, at least two thousand years ago, they use to have BIG bulky ships with everything they could strape onto them. Then they met their worst enemy (not going into detail right now about them), whose more technoligcal advance weapons obliterated their slow ships from afar. This is why today their ships have more damaging weapons and are around 650 meters long to 845 meters long. Many ships also have 20-30 Decks.

Troop Transport Cruiser

Awe-inspiring and fearsome to behold, these towering hulks carry enough firepower to level a city several times over. Their presence sends an unmistakable message to the enemy below: the end is near. Weapons onboard include the long-range missiles nicknamed 'Snow', capable of disintegrating entire enemy vessels in a few shots, M1O AA Guns, a prow-mounted bombardment laser for pinpoint ground strikes, and many other weapons. Their armor is also thick enough to take several direct hits from enemy ships, and then return fire.
Measuring 700 meters in height, each Cruiser can hold a complement of 7500, including 5000 soldiers, 500 pilots, 1800 support crew, and 200 officers. Propelled by fusion-powered beam thrusters that double as weapons, Cruisers provide a persuasive force to keep peace.

Weaponary: Ground
The weapons which the Coalition of the Eighteen use on the ground are fast moving companies of many men, vehicles, and aircraft which have impressive firepower.

Exoskeleton

This machine fits the bill of fast moving vehicle which is armored and packs a punch perfectly. It is armed with one heavy gauss machine gun which is deadly against lightly armored vehicles, and more importantly, infantry. On the left shoulder is a rocket pod which fires powerful rockets at targets, more useful against robotics and vehicles. This is because the rockets, when they explode on the target, give off a powerful Electromagnetic field, which only lasts for a couple seconds but critcally damages any eletronics, or whatever makes the target work (machinery) to get overloaded and poof, permantly offline unless you repair it. (and i mean everything electronic inside has to be replaced). The rockets arn't that effective though if they hit shields which will negate the effect of EM field. only down side to this mech is that the cockpit to control this thing is a bit cramped.

Hammer IFV
The hammer possesses reasonably strong armour, and can survive an impact from a dedicated anti-tank weapon and continue to operate. Instead of tank treads, the vehicle moves on six large all-terrain wheels, which in conjunction with its powerful engine, gives it a reasonable amount of maneuverability and enables it to traverse rough terrain. Its main weapons are a gauss heavy machine gun and a linked autocannon, which a gunner at the top of the vehicle controls.
