PostSubject: The Shraadus   Mon Apr 22, 2013 12:23 am

In short,
The Shraadus are an ancient and wise philosophical alien race, that is efficient in science, technology and warfare. However, their highly intelligent and logical minds are also clouded by a high sense of religion and personal patriotism for their kind. It is their religion that the Gods select a chosen race as their host to the universe, under the assumption that they are the strongest. Though should that change, the Gods would select a new host that had successed over the Shraadus. The Shraadus also have a high value of honor and are usually overconfident.
Biostructure
A Shraadus's average height is 8 2/5 feet tall, the shortest being 7'6'', the tallest being 10'6''. They have a very good sense of smell, average eyesight and a slightly enhanced hearing. In addition, their Immune system is a lot more effective than a humans, but blood cell production of any type is significantly slower.

PostSubject: Government and Society    Mon Apr 22, 2013 1:07 am

Shraadus Nations flag

the Shraadus Government is a Constitutional Monarchy, where there is the High King, his Court, and the Hierarch's Court(basically the Supreme Court/Senate). Laws are based primarily of philosophy, such as freedoms and crimes and such.

The Nation is split into districts, which is ruled by 2 people per district, and all of the districts are governed by the High King (and sometimes with a Queen as well.) Each district is unique in its society, style and behavior. Some districts are mellow and gentle while others are more (and sometimes a lot more) ruthless and warlike. The Templar's district is one such example of a warlike clan.
This system can give the Shraadus a hierarchy caste system, where the King's district is ontop, followed by the Templars caste, Warrior caste, Working caste, Scientist caste, and lastly those more gentle district's caste.
This also, however, can sometimes lead to clashes of ideology but when something happens that may threaten their way of life the Shraadus will quickly and efficiently unify under one flag.

PostSubject: Military   Wed Apr 24, 2013 12:24 am

Infantry Size: roughly, 3 billion soldiers.
Strength: Very Powerful

These are some of there Infantry classes, since i don't have pictures for all the classes, no pictures yet.

STRIKER

Notes: This is the basic infantry line for the ground forces. All strikers are outfitted with a Power Armor that can ricochet most bullets fired from a non-electromagnetic weapon.
Even though they're the basic line, they are still formidable opponents. Weaponry and shields varies with rank.
Being a Striker is also the easiest (but most dangerous) method for being promoted to a higher class.

DRONE

Notes: Drones are combat medics. They are outfitted with a Light layer of armor (not power) with a layer of Kevlar covering exposed spots.
They are heavily shielded, and carry small arms and blades for weaponry.

ELITE

Notes: As the name suggest, Elites are well.. Elite. Elites are outfitted with a full suit of Adamantite Power Armor and holographic HUD and moderate to heavy shields, depending on rank
Weaponry also varies with rank. (Low: Rifles, ARs, heavy pistols. High: Launchers, Rifles).

STALKER

Notes: The same armor and shields as an elite, though not as much authority. Stalkers are the most recent infantry class added to the list because they were once part of the Elites and formed there own group, eventually becoming official. Stalkers are basically a lot more effective Elite Cloakers, and are very good at sneaking and silent killings. Weaponry are blades, energy blades, suppressed weapons. Never energy-based weapons.

HUNTER

Notes: Taking advantage of the Shraadus's excellent sense of smell, Hunters train themselves to detect certain scents, and because of this are excellent trackers.. hence the name Hunters.
They have a light shield system but are heavily armored. They carry Bladed weapons, suppressed weapons and energy weapons.

RAIDER

Notes: Raiders are the heaviest of the infantry classes. Heavily shielded and Heavily armored, a Raider easily weighs at least half a ton. They carry heavy weaponry, such as Launchers or the  Adamantite Explosive Crossbow. They also carry massive spiked Adamantite Shields and sometimes carry large blades such as broadswords, war hammers or war axes.

RAVAGER

Notes: A special project Infantry class that involves using willingly selected mentally or physically challenged volunteers who wish to serve. A ravager has heavy armor, heavy shields, and can carry all weaponry, depending on the disorder. Mentally challenged ones are known for going on suicidal rampages with C10 Explosives. Ravagers are the only infantry class, other than Templars, to use AI guidance in there armor systems.

TEMPLAR

Notes: These are the best, most advanced, most skilled infantry class in the entire Shraadus Atmospheric Armed Forces. Templars are like the Ancient Greek Spartans if you will, and take the most ridiculously difficult training and test known. From the minute they are born, Templars are tested to the core in skills to promote endurance, combat efficiently, mind and moral. Templars possess super human abilities, such as strength, speed, senses, etc. A Templar could punch through solid metal, and that includes armor as well. All Templars are equipped with Enhanced Adamantite/Azurine Power Armor suits and heavy shield systems. There 'Smart' Helmets are also equipped with an AI and use holographic HUD visor techs(Can use crosshairs, shield and life statuses.). Templars can use any weapon they please, but will more commonly use the weapons associated with their Legion (Heavy Legion will use LMGs and Launchers, Stealth team would use Suppressed weapons, etc.).

PostSubject: Vorreta AMR Coilgun Sniper   Wed Apr 24, 2013 5:23 pm

The Vorreta is a variant of Anti-Material Coilgun sniper rifles invented by militant Han' Vorreta. It fires 15-20mm accelerated piercing shots and is guaranteed to One-Hit kill anything from cannon fodder to Medium-Vehicles, and everything else will be fucked up nicely. Since this weapon is very large, even for a Shraadus weapon, and the kickback for it is ridiculous, it would be near impossible for a Human to use it. It is also considered one of the most powerful Shraadus Firearms. This weapon is commonly used by Templars because they are really one of the few infantry classes who can handle it. Other classes that could aren't made for its design(Long Range Anti-Vehicle).

Basic Design of the Vorreta.

There are 4 Variants of this weapon;

Vorreta T-91 27mm x 6
Vorreta T-89 25mm x 6
Vorreta R-45 28mm x 4
Vorreta M-99 30mm x 1

PostSubject: Military Vehicles and Ships   Thu Apr 25, 2013 9:59 pm

Lets start with one of my personal favorites.

AC-322 "Hell Rainer" Gunship/Destroyer

The AC-322 Is a Gunship/Destroyer combo measuring in 0.3 miles. It is commonly used in atmosphere as an aerial air-to-ground bombardment strike, and occasionally in space.
Most of the AC-322's armor is coated in a thin layer of a reflective metal, making laser-guided missiles on it go off-course,
and uses several flare systems and interceptors for other guided missile systems.
It also has a moderate Shield-System. This ship is bad news for enemy ground forces.
There are 3 gun turrets on each side of the ship. The AC-322 has 6 special cannons on one such turret;

-25mm TMP-9 Kinetic Gatling Gun. (100 shots)
-50mm FC-109 Plasma Cannon. (6 shots)
-80mm RG-9 "Ballistae" Precision Railgun. (6 shots)
-100mm R-49 Saber round. (2 shots)
-150mm RG-20 Heavy Precision Railgun. (1 shot)
-"Lightning Strike" Precision Plasma Cannon. (Destructive 100% Accuracy Fusion strike whenever the "Lightning Rod" is in place).

TMX-9 "Phantom" Stealthship/Dropship

This ship earned it's namesake due to its ability to appear virtually invisible to almost all forms of detection, some of which it can't hide from is plain vision and IR sights, and
the Phantom also has a personal cloak field. It can hold up to 30 men and one vehicle, depending on the vehicle. It carries no personal shield system but is well armored and
holds 4 interceptor drones inside of it to block blind-fired rockets. It has a frontal Chaingun with a 2-canister Rocket Launcher next to it. Panels under the wings may be opened
up to fire out of, which also comes equipped with an attached turret. And lastly, two ports next to the cockpit may open up to fire 40mm Vulcan Cannons.
This is a commonly used transporter on the field.

MRV-22 "Dakken" Support/Attack Copter

The Dakken is an efficient and powerful Attack Helicopter equipped with rail guns, gatling guns, and rocket launchers. It holds a single pilot and can carry 6 additional troops.
It's attached rail gun, featuring a 60 mm slug, is commonly used for taking out medium to light vehicles, such as armored cars, some tanks, and especially mechs. It has no shield system but
is efficiently armored. Other weaponry includes two 30 mm Uranium 'Death Machine' Gatling Guns, and 24 100 mm Stinger Rockets.
The Dakken is a project from salvaged technology from the ancient Dur'Armari, and is most notable for the 3 sets of rotors it has, which they call a Tri-Rotor system, which allows it to take off incredibly fast, fly very fast and is very agile in strafing side-to-side to avoid incoming fire.
New, more advanced versions have the ability to apply afterburners, where the Helicopter alters into a kind of Speed-Based Jet. Maximum speed is 2000 MPH.

Order: (Top Left, Top Right, Bottom Left Bottom Right)

1 - PSR-10 LongRange Artillery Mech
Equipped with a coilgun that fires 70 mm slugs, this mech is designed for taking out long range high priority targets, such as snipers, other mechs, tanks, and landed aircraft.
The body is well armored, however the legs are vulnerable. This doesn't mean it is easily defeated; it has other vehicles or infantry protecting it.

2 - MPR-9 MG APC
This vehicle carries 6 35 mm High Powered Machine Guns. It is mostly an Anti-Air Anti-Infantry vehicle, as most of its rounds probably won't penetrate tanks or heavy vehicles.
The MPR is one of the few car-based vehicles to use wheels, and is well armored from missiles and enemy fire. It can carry 10 additional troops into battle, not including the 3 needed to operate it.

3 - TMZ-7 Heavy Tank
Equipped with a .50 cal MG attached turret, and a 120 mm Railgun with a smaller 20 mm coilgun MG , this tank is a deadly force on the battlefield. It is extremely well armored from almost any attack,
except for mass strikes (nukes, orbital strikes, etc). These tanks will most likely be seen attacking in groups of 3-4s or individually, protected by a squad of Advanced Infantry groups.

4 - MTR Missile Tank
This tank fires 'Stinger' Rockets that home either from laser sights or heat seekers. It is designed only for Anti-Aircraft roles, and may be seen protecting areas that the enemy might use
for landing zones. 2 or 3 of these may be seen protecting such a zone, protected by infantry.
