Star Nation’s Name
The Avilun Kingdom

Government, Leader, How it Works
The government of the Avilun is an Elective Constitutional Monarchy. This form of government functions with 7 Elector Families whom choose the next King/Queen based on usually their skills and experience. They also will take in the Current monarch’s desires (if they are good) for their successor. This is how talented princes and princesses from the current monarch usually obtain the crown. There is then a House of Commons that has representatives from all star systems that represents the interests in that system. The House Of Commons in balanced by the House of Lords, whom only specific people are promoted to by The Oracle. They are the judicial branch of the government and ensure neither the Monarch nor the House of Commons overstep their powers. The Oracle itself can kick any Lord out of the House of Lords should they abuse their powers, and the Oracle is always watching…

The Monarch is tasked with the Army and keeping peace internally within the Kingdom. He also has a say on most foreign policies and can veto laws. He Reigns until either he/she retires, dies, or a combined Oracle and Elector vote forces them to resign. The King can bypass the House of Commons with the Oracle’s Permission and ask for a vote from the Electors for a Declaration of War. Generally, the House of Commons will vote yes if the Oracle will allow for a bypass.

The House of Commons is tasked with ensuring fair economic policies are passed and the rights of the common people are protected. They also usually have the final say in any war or foreign policy unless the Oracle Bypasses them.

The House of Lords are those who are promoted to by the Oracle to ensure neither the House of Commons or the Monarch does anything that they shouldn’t be able to do, such as the house of Commons forming factions within the Kingdom and taking over control of the Army from the Monarch. They also are the highest Jury/Court in the Kingdom.

The Oracle is a Mysterious figure. All know it is one of the first smart A.I.s ever created by the avilun and creation was helped by their First Monarch, Queen Faye. Due to this, many believe that the Oracle has a shard of Queen Faye’s soul and carries on an eternal watch over the Avilun Kingdom to guide them down the right path to ascension of their souls to the origin. Due to how old the oracle is and relation to Queen Faye, the Oracle has much say in politics and could be the deciding factor in anything if she chooses to get involved.


Current Economic Status
The Economy of the Avilun Kingdom has rapidly improved from the Civil War that happened generations ago from which the Kizak Imperium Broke away due to the war ending in a Stalemate. Since then, the Economy, compared to the Kizak’s Economy, has improved drastically. This economy should be considered a prosperous and rapidly growing economy currently due to colonization and huge investments from the private sector of the economy in procuring ships from government shipyards and creating asteroid mining bases, orbital refineries, etc.

Number of Habitable Worlds
Core Worlds: Population above 5 Billion and heavily developed
Province Worlds: Anything between 1-5 Billion People and development is at a good point
Colonial Worlds: Any owned world with a Population below 1 Billion and very lite

Current Military Power
The Avilun Royal Navy is currently a powerful growing force that has three fleets currently. More fleets are planned as the fleet is expanded to defend Avilun planets. Not all ships though are assigned to these fleets and the overall force is not mobilized currently. Those not assigned are usually patrolling the territory for pirates or surveying new worlds.

The Avilun have great technological advancements in both cybernetics and some genetics, but could be considered lacking behind some other people. They refuse to do any genetic manipulations to people outside of adapting Avilun for different habitable worlds.

Religious Beliefs
The Way
   The Way is the only religion of the Avilun. It replaced all superstitious beliefs of the tribal era and was endorsed by the great Queen Faye, the first monarch of the Avilun people. It was first conceived in the earth year of 1985 by Scientists across Aviluna who were studying physics and the nightly sky.

Type of Religion
The way is not the worshiping of a god or high being. It is instead the pursuit of knowledge and betterment of the universe through this knowledge.  

Belief of the Soul
The way teaches those who follow it that the universe itself is both alive and conscious and that it manifests itself in all forms of sentient life, giving all individuals a piece of itself. This means all beings are the same in that their soul stems from that of the same place.  Beings might find that as they go through life, their souls become greater. This does not mean just knowing everything there is to possibly know in the universe means you have a greater soul than any other sentient being. Avilun have done great studies on this and found that generally most sentient races will have equal souls. Within a race though comes those who can be far greater than others. In the end, all souls come from and will return to the river of souls and add their knowledge and experiences to the universe's grand knowledge pool.

Ga'
The Concept of Ga' comes from the idea that all beings have the seeds within their soul for greatness. It is up to the individuals though to make these seeds grow and prosper. Ga' in Avilun means Great Spirit. As such, anyone who receives the title of Ga' is considered to be a being with a great soul and many should take to or learn from them and their life experiences. It is not a simple task though as to do some great one time to get the title of Ga'. Ga' comes from the continuous act of going beyond the limits of the body or mind and help further the universe in a great way. As such, leaders and soldiers can get the title of Ga' from their service, but this comes from a long lifetime of service in support of others.

Significant Races: Avilun
Basic Overview:

   The Avilun are humanoid in shape and slightly resemble a raptor’s shape as well. They have strong legs for running and an extremely sharp sense of hearing. This mainly comes from their 4 sensitive ears on their head. Their body is covered in fur and feathers, with the feathers dotting their fur until you reach their arms where they grow into what seems like wings. Females tend to have muted two-tone feathers, often with speckled patterns. Males generally have bright colors with iridescent bands across much of their body. The Average height of Avilun is usually between 6 and 7.5 feet tall.
   Avilun have a flaw though in that they have large eyes that lack true irises. This means they cannot adapt to levels of light and are blinded on Terrestrial worlds. This does not hamper them though as their main sense of navigation is their hearing.

Extra abilities:

   The Avilun had a very small population prior to space technology that allowed their population to swell up. Their metabolism therefore is slower resulting in slow healing rates, but a decrease in the supplies needed to keep an army fed.
   Also early in their history they had a problem with telepaths on their homeworld. This resulted in a superstitious response that developed into years of constant warfare between the “Normals” and the Telepaths. This War ended when the normals began to evolve an ability that made it much more draining to use abilities such as telepathy. This also is why there are no telepaths in the Avilun as all users were killed.
This ability is either used by a group or by an Avilun with high willpower. The increase in Energy will not exceed 100%. This only affects abilities that rely on the user to expend energy to cast it. It does not affect technology in any way.

Extreme Biological adaptations:

   Avilun have a Sonar like 3-D Map they build in their head and navigate off of reflected sounds most of the time. They also will use their eyes when possible. Their 4 Ears and how their minds work gives them the ability to pick up sound from multiple directions at a time and distinguish between different sounds with ease. This is mostly due to the low light situation on their homeworld.

Extra Organs:

   Any Extra “Organs” come from mechanical augmentations and are up to the desire of the one being augmented. All Avilun though usually have two augmentations, which are the Guardian Nanites and a Neural Jack

Behaviour:

   Avilun Generally are territorial in nature and can become hostile if they feel you are trying to invade and take away their territory and homes. If you make it clear you are not here to do that, then they will be peaceful towards you.

Knighted Packs
Religious Packs

Packs
A pack is the basic group within the Avilun Kingdoms. Here multiple Avilun, usually since birth, have formed a deep bond with one another. This bond lasts throughout life and these packmates usually stick together and do almost everything together. Packmates can be brothers and sisters, but within a pack it is common to have many avilun who aren't directly related at all and might be from a different family all together. Throughout a lifetime, packs might also merge. In the military, Packs are kept as closely together as possible since this bond and years of living together allow them a great deal of coordination in battle. At the same time, the loss of a packmate can be a severe blow to the pack and cause them to go into a rage sometimes in an attempt to avenge their fallen packmate.

It is well taught at a young age that Avilun shouldn't make the pack bond until they have found the right one. The first packbond will always be the second strongest bond an avilun can form, only below Mate bonds. If an Avilun leaves or gets expelled from a pack for whatever reason, this could leave them psychologically vulnerable. If they're thrown out, it changes to Damaged. Avilun without packs generally begin to go crazy and insane after awhile, with a few exceptions though. It is sad when this happens, for these insane packless Avilun must be either locked up and helped to slowly heal or put to death. Being put to death is avoided at all costs and is only used in the extreme cases to end their misery and to prevent any other Avilun from being hurt by this Avilun's actions.

Mates
Mate bonds are the closest bonds that could ever be formed between two Avilun. Generally it is a Male and a Female and they are inseparable. When Avilun fall in love with someone, it usually is for life as they are viewed as "Soul Mates". It is Extremely rare for Mates to separate, but it has happened. In this, Mates will almost do anything for each other.

Families
Families are large groups of packs all who share a common thing or linage. The Original Founding Families of Aviluna make up the great families. These families are considered equivalent to nobles sometimes for their accomplishments in life. It isn't uncommon for some to dislike the great families for their arrogant and snobbish individuals. On a whole though, families have never been of high importance since the foundation of the Avilun Kingdom and the great Queen Faye helping push them into space.

New families may form at any time if enough packs decide they wish to form one. They first all create a name which they might agree on to distinguish themselves from other families. In a sense, families have more or less moved on as businesses. This is the most common place you will see family names being used.

Knighted Packs
Knighted Packs are those who have done great things throughout its life. It can be because of all of the members of a pack or one individual within the pack. When knighted, they all will receive the tittle Ga'. Ga' in Avilun translates to Great Spirit. It is a common belief that all who possess Ga' will go on to accomplish great and good things in life.

All beings are believed to possess the seeds of Ga', but it is up to the individual to help make them grow within their soul. Because of this, being knighted and receiving the tittle of Ga' are very rare. If you do come across an Avilun pack with the tittle of Ga' and it was because of their accomplishments and bravery in battle, it might be a good idea not to piss them off or get into a fight with the pack.

Religious Packs
Religious packs are those packs who dedicate themselves to furthering The Way. In this, many are truly scientists as they seek to further the knowledge of the universe. They are the ones though who perform the religious ceremonies of the Avilun. In following The Way so much more closely than others, they find extreme pleasure in helping and serving others.

Defense Value
The Zeyak class is lightly armored with Adamantium-A. Its shields are considered its first and last line of defense against incoming fire and can soak up some heavy fire. Once the shields are down, it won’t take much to take out a Zeyak. The Zeyak comes with an ECM suite to scramble lock ons and make it harder to gain a weapons solution on this vessel.

Actual Weapons Value
The Zeyak is considered to have weak point defense capabilities, though is not meant to fill the role of bolstering point defense of a fleet. These ships are armed with a large number of BEYLAV short range anti capital ship missiles that can damage larger ships than it. It is meant to use its high mobility to get within 1 light second of an enemy and unleash this deadly salvo and race away to safety. 40 BEYLAV launchers are located on the starboard side of the vessel with 10 launchers in the front. This is so it can also engage other frigates and corvettes easier, if needed.

Propulsion Value
The Zeyak primary drive assembly system and inertial dampeners are capable of propelling this nimble ship forward at cruising speed of 1800Gs of acceleration. This fast accelerating Corvette therefore can quickly traverse a solar system, but its endurance is low due to the lack of an FTL drive and relative low Delta-V to other ships.

Defense Value
For its size, the Galaxy is well armored and shielded from incoming fire. This is meant to keep its cargo or troops safe and its Adamantium-A armor is capable of withstanding heavy punishment. That being said, it is only really armored to protect it against planetary defense systems as it comes in to land. Its armor would most likely still be penetrated by heavy ship weapons and repeated missile strikes like any other ship. It is not as armored as a capital ship either due to its small size and need to carry things still.

The Galaxy is not meant to be used in ship to ship combat unless as a massive boarding ship. Galaxies therefore come with a solid point defense grid that might be useful if, in a group of galaxies, to scare away raiding frigates and corvettes. This vessel though can easily fly through an atmosphere and land on the surface of a world, making its point defense grid very useful to suppress or even force a wouldbe attack of a landing site to withdraw for now. In atmosphere, its Particle Beam Repeaters are epically deadly against atmospheric fighters, drones, and bombers since at these ranges...It is highly unlikely for these weapons to miss. Its deployable missile launchers can be outfitted with a variety of missiles, from anti air missiles to cruise missiles to bunker buster missiles.

Propulsion Value
The primary drive assembly of the GALAXY gives it in non-atmospheric conditions a steady cruising speed of 1500 Gs. This mainly comes from being weighed down by armor. In atmosphere it can safely reach Mach 6. Do not be behind it in an atmospheric flight. This ship lacks a FTL drive.

Ship Bio
Capable of transporting up to 5000 Havoc MBTs or 250,000 Men or 800,000 cubic meters of supply. Transport capabilities can be a mixture between these as well, depending on what it is assigned to.


Krun A2 Class Frigate Block II
Series: LANCER
Dimensions: 635 Meters by 315 Meters by 190 Meters

Defense Value
The Krun A2 is not superbly armored or shielded, but is considerably more so than a Zeyak Corvette. The A2 can take more fire and damage before being put out of action, but its survivability is still low due to having only 1 section, thus not many redundant systems. The A2 comes with an ECM suite to make lock on and weapon solutions harder to obtain against this craft.

Actual Weapons Value
The Krun is meant for burst damage like the Zeyak, but does not actually carry very many more BEYLAV short range anti capital missiles than its smaller Cousin. Instead, it has a much better point defense grid and turreted cannons in order to keep the wing safe. Also on the BEYLAV, all launchers are Dorsal mounted. It can also be used to bolster point defense of other ships if need be. This ship is also great for engaging similar sized or smaller sized ships thanks to its 16 inch cannons.

Propulsion Value
The Krun A2 is capable of obtaining a cruising speed of 1600 Gs of acceleration. This is only 200Gs slower than the Zeyaks and allows them great mobility and agility in battle. This agility and mobility is what they use to get into 1 light second of enemies without hopefully exploding spectacularly. This ship lacks an ftl drive and must be carried in by a mothership or central ship.

Defense Value
The Armor of the A1 is much similar to the A2, the primary difference is that it has additional space due to lacking of the A2’s heavy weaponry. This space is primarily used to enlarge the shield generators they carry and give them much heavier shielding protection. This also prevents a large increase in overall weight.

Actual Weapons Value
The Armament of the A1 frigate is quite low but it has a very heavy point defense grid for a ship of its size. This light armament is used because of its primary role as a scout frigate. It can also do minor raids as well

Propulsion Value
The speed of the A1 is extremely high thanks to the larger engine and FTL drive. It can reach an astounding 1700Gs of Acceleration as its cruising speed. It also has an endurance that lets it make use of that drive and stray a star system or two away from its mothership.

The Galaxy X variant is much like the normal Galaxy transport, but instead it is designed to transport an armored core and act much like a maintenance hangar for it once on the ground. It will thus only be able to transport 1 Armored core plus all the spare parts and supplies needed to run it

Breki Class Destroyer Block III
Series: LANCER
Dimensions: 1400 Meters by 700 Meters by 400 Meters

Defense Value
The Breki has armor, but mainly relies of shields for protection and can withstand heavy ship fire. It also has two sections, giving it redundant systems like two engineering areas. If one section’s generators gets taken out, the other can still make up for the load, though charge up times for weapons may increase if speed is not decreased. Like most ships, both its size, armor, and shield generators help protect it against emp strikes, as well as redirect the current generated from an emp through its armor and into nearby capacitors. An emp weapon could very well be charging up its weapons, shields, or supply power to the engines. It is highly advised against using such weapons since it would take an insane amount of power to overload all the systems on these large ships.

Actual Weapons Value
The Breki shines quite well in its weapons, having a decent defense grid coupled with the punching power of its Kinetic Rifles and Coiled Gravity Cannons. It can take on other destroyers, frigates, and corvettes while also keeping up with them. Once shields are nearly depleted, it can break off and recharge before reengaging at another time. It also can support other ships with long range missile fire, though it missile vollies leave a little to be desired. Its missile launchers are dorsal mounted, with half divided between the two areas.

Propulsion Value
The Breki has a cruising acceleration of 1200Gs and is a nimble ship. A wolfpack of these ships can outmaneuver larger ships or hold hordes of frigates and corvettes at bay from harassing the capital ships. This ship also can be used in atmosphere, but rarely is done so due to its poor speed in atmosphere and fuel cost of doing so. If it is decided to be used in atmosphere, this vessel can barely reach Mach 2.5 as a safe cruising speed.

Hinnek Class Destroyer Block II
Series: ZODIAC
Dimensions: 2300 Meters by 800 Meters by 435 Meters.

Defense Value
The Hinnek has much thicker armor than its smaller cousin the Breki. It also has increased shield strengths and additional shield sections to give it a better defense rating. Its increased size also classifies it as a heavy destroyer and has room for 3 sections to be built.

Actual Weapons Value
The Hinnek has many more and heavier armaments thanks to its larger size. It thus usually leads a wolfpack of Breki as the lead ship. The Hinnek’s weapons also can be useful for engaging larger ships than it, though generally never alone.

Propulsion Value
The Hinnek is able to accelerate at a cruising acceleration of 1000Gs. It also has a slightly higher endurance than that of the Breki. It comes equip with an FTL drive and an special propulsion suite plus grav directional thrusters to turn the ship faster than normal for a ship of this size.

Defense Value
The Breki SD has better shielding due to the lack of the normal variant’s heavy weapons. This also makes room for other large systems through its hull as well making it slightly tougher than the normal variant.

Actual Weapons Value
The Breki SD only has a few 12 inch guns that could damage other warships. Other than that, it lacks any punch to take on ships larger than destroyers. That is alright though as this ship boasts a fearsome point defense grid for its size and is meant to support or escort other ships in a squadron.

Propulsion Value
The enlarged engines which the Breki carry allow it to achieve a cruising value of 1500Gs. It also packs more fuel and thus can go much further than a destroyer of its size normally can go.

Actual Weapons Value
The Noble is balanced in his armaments, having 8 inch rapid firing cannons to engage frigates and corvettes with as well as smaller ships. Its primary armaments are balanced in firepower and damage it can dish out over time with its 70 inch and 20 inch coiled gravity cannons. Finally, it has a good point defense grid that can protect the ship from incoming enemy missiles, bombers, and fighters.

Propulsion Value
The Noble class cruiser can achieve a speed of 850Gs of acceleration. This lets it support and quickly outflank enemy capital ships with its smaller brethren, or quickly reposition to add supporting fire or defense elsewhere.

Actual Weapons Value
The Hurricane is classified as a Missile Cruiser and its weapons loadout makes it a great support cruiser. It is meant to bolster point defense grid as well as add to the firepower a squadron might have in long range missile fire. It is capable of an impressive number of LONGBOW and TREBUCHET missiles at enemy targets. Because of this large missile armament and point defense grid, it lacks any main cannons or kinetic rifles and would be at a disadvantage if it gets into a Laser or railgun slugging matches by itself.


Propulsion Value
The Hurricane has a slightly better drive assembly than that of a normal Noble Cruiser. It is thus capable of achieving a cruising speed of 900Gs of acceleration. The design also has additional fuel tanks, giving the ship a long range capability. This ship can be used for scouting purposes.

Actual Armament Value
Outside of Heavy Battleships, Vuneraith Heavy Cruisers have some of the heavy armaments from the Avilun Kingdom. It has many missile launchers as well as powerful primary batteries. The 95 Inch Coiled Gravity Cannon is capable of inflicting heavy damage to a ship or its armor and its 25 inch guns will lay into the enemy over time, whittling away their armor over time. It also features 8 inch rapid firing cannons to ward off small hostile ships and like all 8 inch guns, they can fire powerful Graviton Pulse Charges to ward off swarms of drones or missiles. The most powerful weapon though mounted on this ship is its Gilak Class Grav-Lance. This powerful weapon has a long range like many energy weapons. It will lock onto an enemy and fire a targeting beam at the target. If the beam can successfully be held on the target for 10 seconds (at max range), a channel which the energy from the weapon can follow will be open and the weapon will fire. This massive flux of energy will slam into the hostile ship much like a laser at first before exploding violently, causing massive damage over a large area. This weapon is much more powerful than kinetic rifles, yet is the Vuneraith is the smallest ship fit enough in the Avilun Navy to power and mount this massive weapon.

Propulsion Value
The Vuneraith is capable of cruising at an acceleration of 550 Gs of Acceleration. Even with its large engines, the weight and size of the ship prevents it from having a higher safe cruising speed.
